Leere Seiten eines Buches, Zeilen, die mit Cutter entfernt wurden. Erst auf den zweiten Blick werden Formen sichtbar: Banknoten verschiedener Nationen ersetzten das Layout. Assoziationen entstehen einerseits zu einer Kommerzialisierung von Literatur und Kunst, die jedes Maß verloren hat; andererseits wird an den materiellen Druck auf Autoren und Künstler in Vergangenheit und Gegenwart erinnert.
Blank pages of a book, lines removed with a cutter. Only on second glance are forms visible: banknotes of different nations replaced the layout. On the one hand, the viewer has associations with a commercialization of literature and art that have lost every limit; on the other, authors’ and artists’ struggles to survive in the past and present are recalled.
